Ingredients Required

• 1 cup/200g rice

• 5 cups water

• 1 tbsp salt

• 500g chicken, cut into 1'' pieces

• 1/2 cup/100g curd

• 50g Suhana Chicken Biryani Mix

• 3 tbsp ghee or oil

• 1 onion, chopped

• 1/2 cup fresh coriander leaves, chopped

• 1/4 cup mint leaves, chopped

• A pinch of saffron mixed with lukewarm milk

• 1/2 cup crispy fried onions for garnishing

How to Cook

1. Wash and soak rice for 15 minutes and drain.

2. Boil water, add rice, salt, and 1 tbsp oil, cook for 4-5 minutes until half done, then drain.

3. Make a paste of curd and Suhana Chicken Biryani Mix and marinate the chicken for 1 hour.

4. In a large pan, heat remaining oil, sauté onion until golden, add marinated chicken and cook for 20-25 minutes.

5. In a heavy-bottomed casserole, layer the cooked chicken and rice.

6. Sprinkle coriander, mint, and saffron-infused milk over the rice.

7. Cover and cook on low heat for 10 minutes.

8. Garnish with crispy fried onions and serve.
